Hi all just joined. I'm 23 year old student nurse!  Have been suffering 'ch' since may 2020. Have had them quite frequently since ( a couple of times a week). Went to the doctors in September after knowing something wasn't right (luckily I did keep a diary of when the headaches were occurring). I am very lucky I had a doctor who listened as he diagnosed me then and there with cluster headaches ( never heard of them before please forgive me). I have been given nasal sumtripans, the doctor said he wasn't prepared to arrange oxygen as it was just a pain to keep on top of. I've been referred to a neurologist before they start me on any preventative medication. I have been told it is over a year waiting list though. I can't help but feel sorry for myself and just cry when I get these headaches. So after a long winded intro I just wanted some advice on a few things!

Is sumitripan injections better than nasal at reliving pain?

does anyone else feel the next day completely out of it and tired all the time?

is it worth trying oxygen?

Does anyone have any coping mechanisms as I just pace and cry?

Thankyou and I hope everyone is okay!
