OXYGEN SUPPLY DURING COVID19 PANDEMIC

COVID19 and oxygen

We have been notified that cluster headache oxygen users may be approached by their Community Oxygen Nurse, to ask that they surrender some of their oxygen cylinders to ensure there will be sufficient supplies of oxygen for Covid19 patients when the expected surge in new infections occurs.

PLEASE NOTE that we have been assured by all the oxygen suppliers throughout the UK that no home oxygen user will be left without supplies.  What they ask is that you order only the minimum and return any cylinders that are spare.  This means you will have to watch the dial on your cylinder and when it gets towards the red section, then ring and order a new cylinder.

Surrender is voluntary, but with careful management CH sufferers can do their bit to help in this current emergency.

Keep safe and follow government regulations.
