As a relatively new sufferer of CH, I'm absolutely delighted that this meeting is happening so close to me! I can't wait to meet those of you who are attending.....most people just don't understand what we have to go through and it'll be great to spend time with people who just 'get it'.
PF wishes to all.
That's great Ryan! Sorry you had to join the club but we'll look forward to meeting you on the day. Look out for full details soon.
All the best

New to this forum but been a CH sufferer for many many years. Just got my tickets for the conference and really looking forward to it. Feel like I've just booked a holiday!
Oh that's great, Gillian! You will love mingling with others who totally understand your pain and how life is, coping with it. You won't be disappointed. You'll love hearing the top experts speaking and it will give you confidence to know we have such brilliant people on our side.
I'll be there on the day, please make yourself known to me!
Is there a sell-out risk for tickets? Both I and my partner are now going to try and come and make a weekend of it, but we're waiting to see if we can offload the kids on her mum!
That's great Joseph!
You should be ok for a bit just book as soon as you can..
Look forward to seeing you there!
Looking good for that weekend. It's going to be a long drive because we're going to have to swing by the Cambridgeshire fens on the way there and the way back, but I love an adventure. I'll go online and book some tickets.
Will I need an extra coat?
That's great Joe! It's bound to be a wee bit chilly but not arctic conditions in March if that helps. I look forward to meeting new faces and old friends.

For the North East conference on Sunday, I've booked tickets but i haven't recevied anything. Does anyone know if we just turn up?
I haven't had any tickets either. I was just going to bring my receipt that was emailed to me. I wasn't sure if formal tickets were going to be sent or not.
Hi Gillian and Joseph
Don't worry, just bring your confirmation email if you don't get them in the post. We will definitely not be turning you away, we know you're coming, for sure! We have your names on a list anyway.
Look forward to meeting you both on Sunday.
Just to confirm, the Conference today at the RVI in Newcastle is going ahead as planned.
It was so lovely to meet new friends yesterday and greet old ones. Thank you and well done to the many lovely people who were able to make it to the conference in the snowy weather and commiserations to those of you who couldn't - but thank you for trying. I know of one person who skidded in her car trying to get there, I was personally so touched by the effort our CH family put in to try to be together. It was still very well attended and thankfully not too many missed the day. It was a fantastic day all round. We're very lucky to have such brilliant experts who are so willing and eager to help us. We really appreciate it and we know how fortunate we are that they are collectively determined to get the beast on the run. Their drive and enthusiasm is such a comfort and gives us real hope for the future.
A massive thank you to each and every one of them.
Thank you very much for all the effort you put into this meeting. It was great to see everyone and visiting Newcastle for the first time was well worth it. What a lovely city!
The downside was that we had to leave early to get down to Cambridgeshire to pick up the kids and then to Essex to fetch the dog, all before 9pm. So we missed the breakout session, Prof Goadsby and Dr Lambru. If at any time the video of the afternoon becomes available, please let me know. I'm extremely keen to see it.
Many thanks again.
I'm so pleased you made it Joseph and it's all so worthwhile. The meeting was a great success and I'm so pleased as many members like yourselves managed to get to it despite the weather. Others were not so lucky but happily we still had a good turnout. I do hope you make it to another one some time.
We'll be letting you all know as soon as the video is available to download. I'm glad you liked Newcastle! Pity it was arctic conditions - not usually this bad in March but I think this year is unusual everywhere. Next time we're in Geordieland I think we'll book a summer conference, lol!
I could be tempted to a summer weekend in Newcastle, definitely. I look forward to hearing about the video in future.
Did the video of the conference - particularly the afternoon that I missed - ever get published anywhere? Really keen to hear Goadsby and Lambru.
I just checked and it's still being edited but rest assured, we'll share it as soon as it becomes available.
