I asked my doctor to prescibe this today but wouldn't until neurologist agreed - is this common practice or is there a way I can demand he prescribes it?
Told me it's normlly given to hyperactive children??

in my case consultant gave first perscription then gp kept it going, take an hour before bedtime. It does not stop the bedtime attacks so much now but does help a lot with stopping middle of night ones.
I read somewhere cluster people often are short of this melatonin. walnuts contain high concentrations of melatonin.
