Vitality 10K (virtual)
I’ve managed to convince Simon to purchase some running shoes, and together we’ll be taking part in the vitality 10K on 24th September to raise funds for OUCH UK.
Cluster headaches (nicknamed suicide headaches) are described by medical professionals as being the worst pain known to mankind. After years of suffering I was finally diagnosed in 2019, and have just recently survived another horrendous cycle.
Even with the injections and oxygen, I endured 3 weeks of hell, the pain was just as unbearable as the last cycle, and the support from the GP's was poor.
I'm hoping that getting back into running will help to rebuild my emotional well-being, and have decided to raise funds for OUCH UK who have been a lifeline for me and many others who are bravely surviving this horrendous condition every day.
